Job Description

Our client is looking for a Secret cleared Configuration Manager to sit hybrid in King George, VA. This individual will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintain a configuration management plan for all aspects of the software lifecycle. Providing subject matter advise and leadership for all aspects of configuration management and reporting on configuration management activities. This individual will be responsible for tracking and reporting on software releases through change requests, impact assessments, and version controls. Establishing a documentation repository to track and maintain records, leading software, and code reviews to ensure the configuration management plan is executed. Lastly, this individual will be responsible for defining provisions for configuration identifications, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.

Salary ranges from $140-150,000 based on experience

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field

* Active secret clearance

* 6+ years of experience as a configuration manager, ideally within the federal space

* Professional experience and high-level understanding of working with various operating systems

* Experience managing complex IT projects and familiarity with risk and issue management

* Strong analytical skills and experience with configuration management tools null
