Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Dagsboro, Delaware

Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and play a crucial role in

maintaining the heartbeat of our operations. In this position, you will:

· Conduct proactive preventive maintenance, including lubrication, wear measurement,

component repositioning, and operational checks to ensure seamless machinery

function.

· Respond swiftly to emergency or breakdown situations, supporting continuous plant

operations.

· Utilize equipment manuals and technical literature for effective maintenance

management.

· Master measurement and test equipment with precision and accuracy.

· Handle diverse repairs and installations, encompassing electrical, mechanical,

pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.

· Strictly adhere to Lock Out Tag Out procedures to ensure safety and compliance.

· Keep work areas immaculate, upholding high standards of cleanliness and

organization.

· Meticulously prepare and maintain maintenance records, demonstrating exceptional

problem-solving skills.

· Foster a spirit of teamwork and collaboration with fellow associates.

Skills:

· Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician.

· Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.

· Expertise in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

· Familiarity with machine safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Experience in a manufacturing setting.

· Proficient in using standard tools and measurement devices (e.g., micrometers, scales,

rulers, depth gauges, calipers).

· Ability to understand safety instructions, job orders, quality specifications, and

other related documents.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent mathematical and mechanical reasoning abilities.

· Team player with a positive attitude, good judgment, and time management skills.

· Physical capability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift/move up to 50

pounds.

· Good close vision and depth perception.
