Job Description

One day you could be liaising with one of the world's largest airframers, and the next, some of the biggest airline brands around the world!

In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

As Logistics Process Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing, designing and optimising logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance overall supply chain performance.

This role involves collaborating with cross functional teams to develop and implement innovation solutions, utilising data analysis, process modelling and lean methodologies.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Process Analysis and Improvement:

• Conduct detailed analysis of current logistics processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.

• Develop and implement optimised logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Utilise lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage logistics process improvement projects from conception through to implementation.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect and analyse data to evaluate the performance of logistics operations.

• Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on the effectiveness of logistics processes.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Technology Integration:

• Evaluate and implement new logistics technologies and software to improve process efficiency.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all logistics processes comply with industry regulations and company policies.

• Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
