Job Title: Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic products used in the dental industry, including ultrasonic cleaners, LED curing lights, sterilizing ovens, high-frequency electro-surgical devices, and dental scalers.

• Perform acceptance testing of products after repair and complete associated documentation.

• Work with schematics, drawings, and test procedures.

• Utilize various electrical meters, scopes, high voltage leak detection equipment, and other devices for troubleshooting.

• Conduct mechanical repair and assembly of equipment.

• Disassemble and troubleshoot equipment, documenting issues and performing repairs.

• Dismantle defective equipment and install new and/or repaired parts.

• Solder and desolder electronic components.

Essential Skills

• Electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting.

• Electronic assembly and repair.

• Mechanical assembly and repair.

• Proficiency with schematics, blueprints, and printed circuit boards.

• Testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, and electronics repair proficiency.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Work Environment

This role operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in a clean, climate-controlled dental supply manufacturing facility that adheres to FDA regulations. The noise level is quiet, providing a conducive work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
