JOB DESCRIPTION
- Hand-harvest export quality blueberries and/or operate machine-harvester for blueberries and/or work on the harvester for export quality berries.
- The person in this position will be hand picking, stacking flats/lugs/bins, thinning, training, and pruning blueberries
- Install trellis posts and trellis berry plants.
- Weed specifc fields of blueberry varieties.
- Use of Hand tools and Power Equipment
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other crop protectants
Work on production line to pack product by hand or with mechanized equipment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Three months of verifiable agricultural field work experience, including three months of verifiable experience operating blueberry harvesting machine, other harvesting machine or tractor, handling both manual and mechanized tasks.
