Construction Project Coordinator/Manager *Location: Southwest or Central Nebraska The Project Coordinator will assist the Operations Manager with Project Surveying, Quality Control and managing contract paperwork. This is a long-term salaried position with growth opportunity and advancement. Salary and benefits to match qualifications. Travel to projects is required , travel per diem is paid and a vehicle is furnished. Depending on Experience salary will be $100,000 + per year. • Basic knowledge of Construction Surveying such as layout and computing quantity.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects at a time.
• Knowledge of survey levels, and GPS.
• Knowledge of CAD and/or TBC software.
• Ability to read and interrupt plans correctly.
• General knowledge of Earthwork, Concrete, and Utility Work.
• Prior Supervisor experience needed.
• Evaluate multiple construction projects to determine compliance with plans.
• Direct construction personnel to correctly follow plans.
• Must have some knowledge to direct construction positions: flagger, laborer, concrete finisher, pipe layer and equipment operator.
• Ability to work independently and productively without constant direct supervision.
• Ability to work well as a team and accept and give direction as needed.
• Excellent communication skills to relate to BSB crews and management team but also contractors, subcontractors and engineers.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record required. CDL preferred.
