Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to join the Video Engineering EPM team to work on next-generation camera sensing software technologies. You will partner with the camera firmware and driver team on core camera and Image Signal Processor (ISP) technologies used in almost all Apple products and services, including those the world doesn’t know of yet! You will should have experience in product development and program / project management, proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills and a passion for developing new camera and imaging technologies.

Key Qualifications

• Proven program management experience taking a product from development through production

• Understand and deals well with a fast paced environment, while remaining calm and flexible in the face of uncertainty

• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills with a multi-functional team oriented mentality.

• Experience in embedded firmware/software development with relevant hardware, firmware, software development experience

• Experience with Image Signal Processors (ISP) in consumer products

Description

• Bring creativity and critical thinking to each challenge - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to plan and drive firmware / low level software projects - Build zero-margin schedules and drive programs from concept development through production for novel technologies - Identify technical risk areas and mitigation strategies in partnership with Apple technologists - Ensure tight coordination with partner engineering teams - Synthesize large amounts of data into concise written and verbal analyses that enable decision making at the executive level

Education & Experience

BS + 3 years of relevant experience

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,000 and $230,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
