Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the Shopping Experience Product and Program Management team and help us do extraordinary things. Apple is looking for an experienced, dynamic leader of Product and Program Management to join the Apple Store Online and lead the worldwide Shopping Experience Product Team. This team is responsible for building seamless, personalized, and innovative digital commerce experiences and capabilities for all our online customers. This is a technical role that links between business, design, and engineering to bring to life incredible products for our customers.

Description

In this role, you will lead a high performing team that focuses on customer-facing web and mobile experiences that deliver significant commercial value for our organization, support strategic Apple initiatives like new Apple product launches, and represent the future of digital retail. This role will require significant partnership with teams across Apple, including Apple Store Online business teams, Marketing, Operations, Marcom, and various Engineering teams. Success in this role will include delivering surprise and delight for our customers, while integrating our Apple values such as Education, Accessibility, and Privacy. - Develop multi-year roadmaps and plans for the Shopping Experience program - Lead a team that delivers high volume of customer-facing technology projects and capabilities - Build and lead an effective team via hiring and team skill and culture development - Communicate ideas, plans, and program status to senior partners and executives

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years Product or Technical Program Management experience, ideally in a sales or e-commerce organization

  • 7+ years managing a team of Product or Technical Program Managers, and 3+ years experience leading managers and senior individual contributors

  • Experience designing and evolving organizational structures, hiring and developing diverse, highly motivated team members

  • Experience delivering customer-facing digital products and capabilities globally

  • Possess strong technical skills with the ability to dive into technical details and designs in order to partner with Engineering teams to deliver software

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience, MBA a Plus

  • Highly skilled at building a strong team culture with a focus on team and individual development

  • Proven track record of developing and delivering multi-year experience and capability roadmaps with complex interdependencies

  • Skilled at leading teams that deliver high quality, innovative technology products

  • Strong leadership presence and communication skills that span executive, partner, and project communication, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Skilled at and embraces working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, evolving, collaborative environment

  • Ability to drive process and program improvement via direct and cross-functional partner teams

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $238,300 and $358,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
