TEKsystems Recycling Operations & Material Recovery Technical Program Manager in Cupertino, California

Description:

Client’s goal is to one day achieve independence from mined resources — those continually extracted from the earth in carbon and resource-intensive processed. To achieve this, the Client works first from the design standpoint prioritizing low carbon materials, designing with a focus on material efficiency, and ensuring that no waste is sent to landfill. These efforts not only propel forward Client’s focus on circularity, but also are the foundations of delivering on our goals of being carbon neutral for our value chain by 2030. This role puts you in the driver’s seat to accelerate our work on these efforts with a focus on improving material recoveries in metals recycling. This person will research and develop improvements to current metals recovery solutions in the recycling space. This person will leverage cross-functional partnerships to understand the electronics recycling process and assess opportunities to improve recovery rates for metals such as Steel, Aluminum, Copper and other base metals. There will be many opportunities to understand through research, literature review, data modeling of recovery operations and immersion with expertise from our recycling team. Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Vendor management and technical clarifications about projects in the material recycling space -Literature reviews of metals and other heavy industries -Identifying vendors and opportunities for recycling trials.\nCoordinating research and analytical trials with multiple vendors and stakeholders -Developing designs of experiment documents to outline and communicate the scope of work to be done -Analyzing material results and summarizing path forward -Maintaining and updating project schedules and budgets for small projects -Experience in processes from mining or metal production, from extractive metallurgy to recycling. -Experience in recycling technologies -Technical on-site experience in plants or production facilities, regardless of industry.
