Join a team that helps bring applications onto Apple’s iCloud Services. We are looking for outstanding engineers who can engage closely with our adopter teams and provide both architectural and implementation guidance to best take advantage of Apple’s cloud offering. iCloud and CloudKit bring cloud support to billions of users across thousands of applications. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates clearly, and demonstrates effective collaboration skills. We are searching for an individual with a strong engineering background who has experience delivering technical solutions and has shipped production applications at scale. Job Responsibilities • Engage closely with adopter and partner engineering teams onboarding to Apple iCloud features and keeping a close pulse on where the projects are • Provide architectural and implementation guidance for large-scale applications • Walk through partner code, spot issues, and propose improvements • Resolve open issues promptly by identifying and involving the right team members and publish the plan quickly with clear accountability with respect to project leads, timelines, and deliverables • Provide documentation, product feedback, and tooling guidance to improve the process for future adopters

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of work experience designing, delivering, and supporting solutions using cloud services

  • Recent experience developing software in Swift, Objective-C, Java, or other widely used language

  • Experience working with large-scale databases (Relational or NoSQL)

  • Experience deploying and maintaining scalable applications

  • Skilled in Data Modeling and API design

  • Experienced in managing technical and organizational complexity

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people

  • Adept in approaching problems flexibly

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent job-related experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
