Key Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of project management experience

• Experience in consultative selling of large software systems or services

• Experience in planning complex user studies and driving the study management function throughout its full life cycle

• Excellent communication and presentation skills and being effective in different situations, engineering discussions, vendor negotiations, and executive briefings

• Effective facilitator in large multi-functional projects, must be good at managing meetings, drive discussions towards decisions, methodical in meeting summary documentations and follow-ups

• Strong python and bash scripting skills

• Experience interfacing with APIs / RESTful services

• Familiarity with Git and Github/Bitbucket, collaborative software development

• Experience in creating RFPs, evaluating and handling vendors operations

Description

Apple’s Technology Development Team is looking for a high-energy, collaborative and creative Data Solution Architect. As a member of our organization, you will be the technical advocate for our data platform, lead internal customers to launch new user studies and data collection projects, and create integration best practices and drive new features to streamlined study onboarding and systems integration. The Data Solution Architect is responsible for engaging with internal platform customers, understand study requirements, convey platform features and values, develop data platform solutions, and plan, coordinate and handle study rollout.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience.

Additional Requirements

• Lead new user study engagements with internal customers

• Conduct discovery discussions to understand the full study scope and technical details

• Develop and maintain python and bash scripts to integrate custom data collection systems with the data platform

• Partner with platform developers to provide system integration feedback and self-servicing SDK and features to enable streamlined user study setup (configure study, intake, capture and data offload)

• Develop operations related metrics and leverage existing SDKs to create KPI dashboards and reports

• Drive and improve data collection setup to enhance automation and create reference implementations

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
