We are searching for a Sr. Digital Program Manager for Work Allocation and Efficiency, who can hold a leadership position in building strategic partnership with ops, program and product teams, be passionate about processes and innovation, and navigate a complex environment with both business and technical aspects. This role demands a high capacity to Learn and Be Curious, Earn Trust, Have Backbone; Disagree & Commit, Think Big, Dive Deep and Deliver Results in order to continually adapt to the fast-moving environment and to drive efficiency and simplification for global customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including global cross-functional teams within Amazon, external executive teams, and technical teams from both sides. The successful candidate will need to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment. Key job responsibilities

  • Be the subject matter expert of your assigned program

  • Define program value propositions, advantages, and limitations

  • Be the liaison between Business Analysts, Operations and Program Manager to develop solutions focused on work allocation and ops efficiency measurement.

  • Collaborate with BI resources to develop a metrics dashboard for the various programs to monitor impact and drive improvements.

  • Own and support global cross-team coordination, project management, and be able to swiftly prioritize and multi task based on severity level and strong business judgement

  • Identify and investigate data to isolate issues, develop solutions, and prioritize opportunities for servicing partner teams

  • Have a passion for continuously improving the customer experience

  • Be a creative problem solver who always thinks critically about next steps

  • Possess flexibility and have a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous work environment

A day in the life

This position can be located in Seattle (WA) or Culver City (CA).

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with large global organizations as a Program Manager, Product Manager, Digital Supply Chain Manager, or similar role

  • 5+ years of experience using MS Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables, use VLookups, and charts

  • 3+ years of communicating program/project status to executive-level leadership

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Operational Management, or Program Management within large global organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and operations counterparts to deliver meaningful customer experiences

  • Advanced skills and experience with SQL, Excel and Access, or similar database

  • Ability to understand customers and their behavior in order to drive new feature development

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills

  • Experience managing, analyzing, presenting, and communicating relevant results to senior management

  • Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them (verbal/written) to the stakeholders and executives as required

  • Strong attention to detail, end-to-end ownership, and driving results

  • Clear verbal/written communication, including an ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, and both business and technical teams

  • Experience coordinating complex program development cycles

  • Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing and competing priorities

  • Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or imperfect data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $245,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
