Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Cullman, Alabama. This role involves working within the industry to centralize all accounting activities in our Cullman location. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including collections and credit duties, and other reporting needs.

Responsibilities:

• Make daily collection calls and follow up on aging reports

• Use reporting system to track reporting and maintain records of calls and frequency

• Handle basic credit duties for 11 stores

• Export data from Excel to create detailed reports

• Work closely with the accounting team to centralize operations

• Resolve customer inquiries and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and proprietary systems for reporting and tracking

• Assist in additional roles as needed and as part of potential role transition.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Knowledge of Billing Functions is essential

• Demonstrated ability in Claim Administration is desired

• Familiarity with Collection Processes is a must

• Previous experience in Collections is crucial

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
