This position is responsible to provide financial and confident information to reliable on decisions and for to implement effective controls to assure the profitability of the business and for developing, supporting and rolling out the strategic direction according to the business strategic plan and to evaluate the financial impact of strategic projects, besides the active participation with multi disciplinary teams.

Controlling:

›Elaborates Forecast and trend calculations that includes variances analysis in order to explain the gap Act-Bud, Act-FC, FC-Bud, Bud-Bud.

›Active participation for month end closing procedures, providing explanations on main variances actual vs Budget, Forecast vs Budget to central functions manager´s staffing.

›Internal controls for CDF areas,e.g. SCMA, IT, SQM Hub, Purchasing Hub, Customer Service Hub,etc. providing cost analysis and budget control for compensation and non compensation expenses, invoicing for expenses to service receiving plants.

›Tracking for compensation costs and HC keeping those at budget / forecast level.

›Active participation in external and internal audits from Vitesco corporate and KPMG.

›Implementation of standard procedures and corporate guidelines.

›Active participation in annual stock takings according to local law regulations.

›Elaborates budget proposal aligned to central premises,e.g. merit increase, inflation rate, target implementation for fix costs in, strategy calculations.

Sig-Off Authority and eSR system

›Key user for plant Cuautla

›Update and communicate the VT approval flows for VTOS, premium freights, investment, etc. for Cuautla

›Create Sign-off authority forms for relevant employee of Cuautla location.

›Provide training inside organization regarding Sign-Off Authority and eSR (electronic Signature Request)system

›Updated and maintenance of Sign-Off Authorizations forms into eSR System.

›Attends external and internals audits.

Savings calculation:

›Calculate Forecast and Actual Savings for all CBS Projects (reported in Saving Tracker at Vitesco data base) (Kaizen, Kata, Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) ensuring the compliance with Vitesco guidelines for all PL in Plant. (DTC, TUR, HYD, AMT, DAC, MTC).

›Calculate Monthly Actual Savings for all PL in plant (production variable, Production fix (PMME) / Logistics variable, Logistics fix (PMME))

›Create measures in the ST@V Tracker (corporate system) and report actual saving every month during 12 moths

›MEC monthly upload of actual cost into electronic system (web tool closing the gap)

›Calculate standard tariff (M2, downtime, HC tabulador) and submit it into electronical system (web tool Kaizen, etc).

›Analyze costs split up by cost element to define cost reduction opportunity (web tool closing the gap).

Savings Reporting & Communication:

›Attends and reports the savings status on CRM monthly board (Cost review Meeting)

›Attends and reports the savings status on Closing the Gaps meeting.

›Attends and reports the savings status on a monthly boards and local systems (KPI Board, BSC..).

›Trains the relevant employee regarding basic and advanced level saving process as well as each and every one of the requirements and the processes to be carried out.

TPM & Strategic Projects

›Active member in CIP (Cost Improvement Process) pillar to define and implement standard for cost reduction, optimizations and develop cost reduction strategic projects or actions

›Active member of PAM (preventive assets management) pillar member to develop optimization and strategic actions focused on preventive assests management (reduce cost of maintenance costs, utilities, achieve the investment)

› Calculate and report the Actual maintenance cost for all the PL

› Attends standard and monthly follow up meetings

› Controlling aproach to have treaceability of invoices, costs results and energy measurements by substation

› MEC activities to update the energy report (sales, volume by PL)

› Pull, clarifications and communications of energy budget

› Develop special costs analysis (on demand) required by team members.

House of rules

› Develop Internal controls, tools, and methods for compliant, efficient controlling management systems.

› Representation of controlling department as Key User

› Rule roll-out and maintenance (ensuring clarity, following the Rollout plan and regular rule review for proceses, implementations, updates, etc. )

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Minimum)

Education / Certification Bachelor degree (Administrative career), Certified accountant, Business manager, MBA (Optional)

Professional Experience

(Variety of functions, Variety of Business, General Management Experience)At least 2 years of experience developing and implementing projects using continuous improvement methodologies, such as: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, KATA and Kaizen.

Project and / or Process Experience3 Years of experience working on development and coordinating projects using Continuous Improvement methodologies like, Green Belt (desirable), Lean Manufacturing, Transactional methods.

Previous financial experience is desirable
