Cuyuna Regional Medical Center * Clinical Nutrition Crosby, MN Clinical & Technical Full Time, Professional FTE: .8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) Weekend Requirements: No weekends Posted 08/20/2024 Req # 13402 POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Registered Dietitian will provide expertise in Nutrition to all patients and are included in the care given by all other departments. The Registered Dietitian will strive to provide the highest quality clinical services for the patients and residents of CRMC to promote improved health and quality of life. High quality care and overall efficiency are essential components to this success. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited program of a Baccalaureate degree in Dietetics from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university. Must have completed an internship in a hospital offering dietetic internships approved by the American Dietetic Association or have met necessary experience requirements. Previous experience in Clinical Nutritional Services. License/Certificates: Must be a dietitian registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed in Minnesota with the MN Board of Dietetic Practice or pending MN Dietetic license within three month of employment. Special Skills and Aptitudes: Must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Effective interpersonal relationship skills including good listening and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings and with a wide variety of people and different organizational levels. Ability to develop effective relationships with various stakeholders. Knowledge and skills of the principles and practices of Dietetics. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and appropriately. Ability to develop and implement plans for program/department operations. Ability to adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation. Ability to properly operate all equipment required for this position. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients and residents of CRMC in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Attends patient care focused meetings to provide nutritional expertise to the team as assigned. Assists in developing educational programs as assigned. Completes MDSs, RAPs, care planning and other documentation as needed in the absence of Level II Dietary Manager. Displays dedication to the ideas expressed in the Medical Center mission statement, vision and goals. Remains current on the changes in the healthcare industry as it impacts nutrition. Performs other RD specific duties in the absence of the Director. Demonstrate Standards of Excellence when other duties are assigned. Why Cuyuna Regional Medical Center?
