TECHNICAL CONSULTANT, PRE-SALES COLLABORATION
Sirius Federal, LLC, a subsidiary of Sirius Computer Solutions, Inc., is looking for a Technical Consultant, Pre-Sales Collaboration , with a current Top Secret security clearance, to work in the MD, DC, VA area (remote work with travel to client sites).
Our Technical Consultant will have the ability to clearly understand, define and deliver customized Network Security related solutions to our customers. You will assist our government and commercial clients in scoping and designing collaboration solutions for their enterprises. This includes on premise Collaboration architectures, TDM migrations, systems upgrades, cloud migrations, secure voice solutions, and overall enterprise collaboration strategies. You will listen to the customer, select the proper collaboration components, and design a collaboration architecture to meet their needs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have extensive industry experience with a proven ability to architect, design, and implement collaboration technology solutions.
Acts as design lead on complex large projects and drives delivery initiatives.
Assist with RFQ and RFP responses, Bill of Materials, and budgetary estimates.
Presents technical solutions with a strong focus on business value through in-person and virtual meetings.
Works collaboratively with sales and engineering to provide our customers with 100% success and be a true advisor.
Provides guidance to the technical team as a technical mentor.
A current Top Secret security clearance is required or must be able to obtain and maintain
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
At least 7 years’ experience in solid presales experience focused in Collaboration
Experience with industry leading Collaboration technologies from Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom, Polycom, etc.
Have extensive experience with the Cisco Collaboration portfolio, including:
On-premise Unified Communications (CUCM, CUC, CER, UCCX, etc)
Large scale, enterprise-level solutions supporting 40,000+ users
Webex Calling, Meetings Suite, Teams, and Control Hub
Cisco Jabber along with IM & Presence
Telepresence endpoints, Cisco Meeting Server, and VQ Conference Manager
Expressway with MRA, B2B, and hybrid services
Contact Center Express or Enterprise, Quality Manager, and Call Recording
Voice Gateways, Routers, and CUBE
Other Position Requirements:
Ability to travel CONUS to meet with customers as needed up to 25% of the time
Must have deployment experience in Collaboration – Networking and Security is a plus
Knowledge of solution development best practices and services estimating
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to various business needs
Must be capable of working well both independently or as part of a team
US Federal government experience is a plus
Cisco and or Cisco partner experience is a plus
