Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Position Summary:

Sirius Federal, LLC, a subsidiary of Sirius Computer Solutions, Inc., is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer , to work remote in support of a Federal customer.

This individual will be focused as a Cross-Domain solutions engineer with experience in design, test, and delivery across network, data center, cloud, and security domains. Must be a quick learner with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a highly agile environment to design, test, and execute automated deployment and continuous tests across multiple platforms. Work will be performed in a development lab and at customer locations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In-Depth Understanding of key cloud, data center, security and DevOps processes technologies and protocols.

  • The ability to translate a design concept into a physical architecture.

  • Solid foundation in basic network design to include routing, switching BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

  • Experience across Network Security and Zero Trust & Cloud Edge, including any of the followings: Next Gen Firewall, ISE, ASA, TrustSec

  • Experience with AIC, Kubernetes, VMware, HyperFlex

  • Experience with DoD hardening processes

  • Experience with virtualization technologies and automation.

  • Experience with virtualization tools.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field

Other Position Requirements:

  • Some travel to Dahlgren, Wallops Island, and possibly other sites, as necessary.

Essential FunctionsThe position exists to provide technical consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
