Job Description

Reports directly to the Program Manager SEP Singapore. The VIE supports :

  • Program Industrial Team on Tow management

  • Program team on Supply chain risk mitigation

  • Procurement teams on Crisis Management (Missing parts, recovery plan)

  • Quality teams on Crisis Management (NoE, quality issues…)

  • SPQM teams on Suppliers Action plan, assessment, escalations

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Support Transfer of Work activities (FAI, LAI, project schedule, customer deliverables,…)

  • Manage Recovery plan with Line of Balance management on shortages occurring at multi SEP plants

  • Support SPM (SPQM) Division to recover good supplier performances by addressing action plan follow up through close relationship ans visits to supplier site.

  • Support the Supply Chain operation teams on recovery plan, escalations or critical issues

  • Support SPM to "Check and Act" action plan implementation

  • Co assessor on site suppliers assessments or audit with SPQM

  • Support SPM plant on Major Quality issues. (Scope definition, containment…)

  • Escalate and participate to risk analysis with SPQM Division

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

  • Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental

program and culture;

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Purchasing or related field, 3 years of experience in Aerospace production with a Quality System, and 2 years materials and/or purchasing and /or lean manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Supply-chain principles and tools, lean-sigma

Strong Quality Principles and tools including audits, FAI and DVI

Solid Background in Manufacturing, procurement and business management

Lean Manufacturing background including problem solving, process audit, lean manufacturing workshops

Knowledge of ERP software (SAP)

Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite

Skills

Cross-functional project management, multidisciplinary Team work

Good level of written and oral English

Good communication skills towards different stakeholders

Good level in Supply Chain management (CPIM)

Communication and listening, sense of the field, pragmatic

Rigor, spirit of analysis and synthesis

Power of persuasion

Ability to communicate and represent the company externally

Specificity of the job

The VIE will start by a training period on transfer processes as well as immersion in production and with project teams in France before starting the assignment in Singapore.
