TEXAS DISPOSAL SYSTEMS INC Sales Representative in Creedmoor, Texas

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Representative is responsible for retaining and expanding the sale of commercial, construction, municipalities or event services to existing customers, resolving escalated customer issues and meeting monthly revenue goals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Meet monthly revenue goals.
  2. Contact and conduct site visits with existing customers in your assigned territory on a daily basis to retain and expand sales.
  3. Monitor and review customer accounts to determine potential customer issues, contract renewal dates and service changes.
  4. Resolve escalated customer issues.
  5. Regularly contact customers in the assigned territory.
  6. Quote services at the approved rates.
  7. Respond to customer voicemails, emails and other communication by end of the following business day.
  8. Collaborate with Account Managers to assume responsibility for new accounts ninety days after the sale.
  9. Attend weekly sales meetings.
  10. Prepare and submit required documentation in accordance with established deadlines.
  11. Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Reliable transportation to travel to customer or prospect sites
  • Must exhibit a professional appearance and telephone demeanor
  • Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products - e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, demonstrate a strong work ethic and be willing to adapt to change
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and problem solve
  • Must be able to work well with internal customers at all levels of the company

PREFERRED SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree
  • Experience using a prospect database

REQUIRED LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS

  • Valid Class C drivers license
  • Safe driving record for the past three years
