About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Launch Human Resources Generalist to assist with managing various HR functions for existing sites and function as an onboarding ambassador for new launches. You will work alongside the HR and Talent Acquisition Teams as well as our business stakeholders to support our restaurant locations.
Responsibilities
Pre-Launch
Consistently audit and update new hire information within HRIS and New Hire Hub
Work seamlessly with various departments to orchestrate communication of all relevant company information prior to day one
Post-Launch
Audit and report on new hire compliance within HRIS
Monitor and communicate attrition for new launches to restaurant GM’s and Talent Acquisition
Update employee HRIS profiles to account for changes in employee status
Provide support for HR system implementations and upgrades
Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and ensure accurate record-keeping
Onboarding
Conduct comprehensive orientation programs for new hires at launch sites
Ensure new hires are capable of clocking in and out using time management system
Be a welcome ambassador to new employees
Role Details:
Job location: NYC & NJ/Hybrid Remote
Shift details: Full-Time Monday-Friday
Contract Role 3 months
Pay Rate: $40.00
Role Requirements
2 years minimum of HR Generalist experience
Proficient using HRIS systems
Understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
Experience conducting high-volume onboarding sessions
Ability to commute to new launch sites in NJ + NYC
Various Microsoft applications as well as knowledge using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

HR functions for hourly and field employees
Strong follow-up and a heightened sense of urgency
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Multi-tasking, problem solving, and troubleshooting
