Currently, the Navy Aviation Division is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Maintenance and Sustainment Manager to join our team in supporting a large US Government program in Crane, IN .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain asset visibility and property accounting records, prepare purchase requests, conduct micro-purchases, and reconcile purchase card accounts.

• Support Project Managers by sourcing equipment, materials, and services, including non-standard and military items.

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for logistics, property management, and inventory control, including compliance with shipping and import/export regulations.

• Analyze transportation costs, material procurement, backorders, and delivery; conduct market research for non-standard and COTS materials; and prepare international shipping documentation.

• Plan and schedule transportation and shipping requests, and prepare property inventory and accountability reports.

• Conduct monthly sensitive items inventories, maintain digital records, develop logistics models, and update standard operating procedures.

• Identify and standardize solutions to logistical challenges, control the flow of goods and services, and build strategic relationships to enhance logistics processes and meet customer requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.

• Experience implementing sustainment and sustainment strategies

• 7+ years of experience in tandem with managing employees and their performance

• Experience employing Performance Based Logistics within a maintenance program

• Experience developing and implementing maintenance product support strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Purchasing and requisitioning non-standard, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) material.

• Transportation, International Shipping, and Import/Export Procedures.

• Computer maintenance management system experience

• Ability to articulate readiness rating using common operating picture

Clearance Requirements:

• US Citizenship required and Active Secret Clearance
