Job Title: Mechanic ll – Physical Flows

Location: 35 Broadway Rd, Cranbury, NJ 08512

Position Overview/ Position Responsibilities:

Shift: 1st shift

This position has the responsibility to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all facility infrastructure and equipment appropriate to the business operations of the site..

What we are looking for:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance role

  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge

  • Experience with conveyor systems (PLC, monitor controls, pneumatic devices and hydraulic equipment)

  • General knowledge of security systems, locks and door hardware

  • Ability to obtain L’Oreal forklift and elevated platform certification

  • Ability to work overtime and weekends

Nice to have:

  • 2 year technical degree

  • Basic computer knowledge – MS office, email, Excel, maintenance work order system

  • High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to climb and work from ladders

  • Must be able to work from heights

  • Must pass hearing and vision requirements

  • Sitting/Writing/Computer Work-10%

  • Stand - 45%

  • Walk -20%

  • Twist, bend, climb, lift and reach 5%

    Job Title: Mechanic ll – Physical Flows

    Function: Supply Chain

    Reports to: Facilities Manager

    Location: Cranbury, NJ

    Job Summary:

    This position has the responsibility to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all facility infrastructure and equipment appropriate to the business operations of the site.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedules, implements, and oversees repairs including but not limited to; preventative maintenance and service work on all internal equipment related to the business operations of the site.

  • Assists with the management and up-keep of the powered industrial truck equipment including the batteries, battery charging and changing equipment.

  • Organizes and tracks inventory of parts and equipment and re-orders parts as needed.

  • Leads the tracking of site assets.

  • Oversees the maintenance programs for the site.

  • Leads and identifies continuous improvement projects.

    Job Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance role
