System One Field Service Technician in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

Field Service Technician Objective

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide specialized machinery repairs and technical support to our customers on-site. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strong customer service skills to deliver exceptional equipment maintenance and troubleshooting services in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform specialized mechanical repairs on industrial equipment at customer locations

  • Conduct field service visits for new product installations and equipment repairs

  • Provide technical support via telephone, online platforms, and in-person visits

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and educate customers on proper product usage

  • Manage parts replacement requests and warranty claims

  • Collaborate with engineering and programming teams to resolve system issues

  • Document and maintain detailed service records and technical reports

  • Participate in final product testing and quality assurance processes

  • Follow up on technical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Travel to customer sites as required

    Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; Technical degree preferred

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar industrial environment

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities

  • 50-60% travel for customer support

  • Excellent deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to create detailed technical reports and documentation

  • Experience with technical evaluation and diagnostics

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
