DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: PPG's Architectural Coatings Engineering Team is now hiring a Continuous Improvement Manager. The Continuous Improvement Manager will lead all continuous improvement programs for the Architectural Coatings Manufacturing Sites. The most successful Continuous Improvement Manager is sought out by leaders and employees and anticipates improvements before an issue occurs!

Key Responsibilities: * Analyze and establish, together with Plant Management, a Productivity Pipeline with potential projects that help reduce the gaps between indicators and goals to obtain tangible results of high value for the business. * Develop Internal Change Agents in the organization, supporting deployment of the Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma methodology through the training of White, Yellow, Green and Black Belts who will serve as future project leaders for productivity projects and Kaizen events. * Lead the Manufacturing Continuous Improvement committee to review the progress of each area (Ideas Implemented, 5S, Savings, Lean Maturity Assessment Score). * With Finance support, carry out monthly validations of productivity savings generated by ongoing projects. * Facilitate the implementation of Improvement projects, workshops, and best practices implementation with the purpose of increasing productivity, eliminating waste, reducing costs, and standardizing operations across the organization. * Deploy to focus sites to deep dive productivity concerns, recommend corrective actions and work with the team to implement permanent solutions. * Develop and lead the implementation of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program within the AC USCA plant network. This includes Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance, to increase machine reliability and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness and reduce equipment downtime and reactive maintenance work. * Host Kaizen Workshops to identify current and future process states and build process improvement plans. * Champion existing business processes and manufacturing lines using various methods such as value stream mapping, gap analysis or PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act). Find opportunities for improvement as well as losses, troubleshoot further to determine root causes.

Minimum Qualifications: * Engineering degree * Certification in Green Belt or Black Belt * Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma Methodologies, and Total Productive Maintenace * + 5 years of experience leading improvement processes. * Manage High Performance Teams.
