MOFFAT COUNTY Court Security Deputy Sheriff in Craig, Colorado
POSITION: Court Security Deputy Sheriff
DUTIES: Performs functions related to managing inmates; including: taking custody of inmates, conducting searches, completing required documents, patrolling detention facility, using force to maintain order and gain inmate compliance with lawful orders, and all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Ability to read and write the English language * High School Diploma or GED; * One to two years of progressively related experience; or * Any combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Valid Colorado Driver's License * Colorado Peace Officers Standards and Training Certification * Arrest Control Certification * First Aid and CPR Certification * Fire Arms Qualified by Department Instructors.
WAGE: Pay is $25.12 - $31.07 per hour, wage is dependent on experience.
SHIFTS: This is a full time position. Days and hours will vary. Will be working 40 plus hours per week.
JOB SITE: Moffat County Colorado.
