MOFFAT COUNTY ADULT PROTECTION/CHILD WELFARE PREVENTION SERVICES in CRAIG, Colorado
POSITION: Adult Protection/Child Welfare Prevention Services.
DUTIES: Performs various functions at a professional training level related to managing assigned cases, including: reviewing police reports and other documents to identify risk factors; conducting investigations; developing service plans and goals; interviewing clients and evaluating needs; conducting counseling and therapy; referring clients to appropriate agencies; providing crisis intervention; conducting field visits to assess need recommendations; and preparing case and court reports. Forms and other documents. Incumbent is required to be on-call, and all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Social Caseworker I: Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in one of the behavioral science fields. Social Caseworker II: Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in one of the behavioral science fields, One year of full time professional social casework experience. Social Caseworker III: Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in one of the behavioral science fields, Two years of full time professional social casework experience. And/or 5-7 years of progressively responsible related experience, or Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have valid Colorado driver's license. Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
WAGE: Pay is $20.00 to $29.80 per hour depending on experience.
SHIFTS: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
JOB SITE: Craig, Colorado.
