Job Summary:
The Software Engineer, following the agile scrum philosophy, is responsible for developing, testing, and supporting software applications and tools. By stepping through the user stories and requirements, the Software Engineer shall be capable of translating user story requirements into technical requirements and tasks, including identifying and developing the required server-side code, front-end code, security, and architecture.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - Commensurate, depending on relevant experience, education, and qualifications.

Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Engineering, or related field
Passionate about learning and using software to solve problems
Experience with web application frameworks and the cloud
Experience designing, implementing, and integrating with RESTful APIs
Experience writing unit and integration tests and using testing frameworks
Familiar with the Agile Development Lifecycle
Must have solid knowledge and understanding of at least three of the following skill sets: Python, Cloud, React, HTML, Typescript, MySQL, Apache, Linux, Web Application Frameworks, Docker/Containerization , Continuous Integration & Development, GIS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn software development stack
Work as part of a scrum team to identify and deliver user stories prioritized by-product leads, clients, and stakeholders.
Participate in evaluating architectural tradeoffs to optimize the project, product, and opportunity costs.
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of software issues
Develop high-quality and well-commented software and software tests
Security and testing of all developed code and managed projects
