Network Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Network Engineer to join our team in Covington, Louisiana, United States. This key role serves as a crucial part of our operations, where you will be handling tasks such as the implementation and management of network systems, ensuring their optimal performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. This role does not support C2C engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, and Cisco ASA among others.

• Handle the configuration and deployment of Cisco Routers and other Cisco Technologies.

• Ensure the optimal performance of the Cisco Catalyst and Cisco 5525 systems.

• Implement and manage computer hardware configurations to meet company needs.

• Conduct AB Testing to improve system performance and user experience.

• Oversee and perform regular checks on the data center to ensure smooth operations.

• Carry out configuration management tasks to ensure system stability and security.

• Respond to and resolve any network-related inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account activity.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

Requirements

• Must possess expertise in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

• Proficiency in working with Checkpoint is required

• Knowledge and experience with Cisco ASA is mandatory

• Must be adept at handling Cisco Routers

• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is crucial

• Configuration Management skills are a must

• Experience in working with Datacenter is necessary

• Must have a proven track record in handling Deployments
