Hiring Maintenance Technicians!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and organizing maintenance practices. You will be responsible for operational maintenance on assigned equipment, entering all work performed into the CMMS (MP@2), and performing electrical repairs on various AC/DC systems. Additional duties include troubleshooting and repairing VFDs and PLCs, mechanical repairs, MIG welding, and assisting both the Blade Tech and operations department with equipment and production issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) and organize maintenance practices.

• Perform operational maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Enter all work performed into the CMMS (MP@2).

• Perform electrical repairs on 480v, 220v, 110v AC/DC systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair VFDs and PLCs.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace bearings, cylinders, and other mechanical parts.

• Perform MIG welding.

• Assist Blade Tech with setup and repairs.

• Assist operations department with equipment and production issues.

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting.

• Use power tools and hand tools to fix any issues.

• Maintain and repair packaging machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience performing mechanical and electrical repairs is a plus.

• Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and perform repairs.

• MIG Welding experience.

• Military experience in mechanical or electrical fields is a plus.

• Proficient computer skills using Word, Excel, and maintenance software to create work orders, repair parts lists, equipment repairs, and PMs.

Work Environment

This company cleans, rinses, cuts, and distributes all types of produce. The environment is cold and wet, with floors constantly wet due to sanitation and washing of equipment and product. The facility temperature stays between 34-40 degrees. Chlorine and Citric Acid are used for cleaning, creating a strong smell throughout the facility. Please ensure candidates do not have allergies to Chlorine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
