Amazon Prototyping Engagement Manager, AGS - Tech - Field - EMEA - SA PACE in Courbevoie, France

Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Prototyping Engagement Manager (PEM) to lead customer prototype projects with AWS technology in France. A prototype is a two to six weeks hands-on engagement where we build together with our customers a functional use case leveraging innovative AWS technology such as generative AI, Data Analytics or Serverless, helping them clarify their decision making and accelerate business outcomes.

The PEM role works closely with sales, solutions architects and regional leadership to identify, qualify, scope, and manage high impact time-boxed prototypes; to ensure a proper path-to-production for prototypes; and to communicate internally and externally to wide audiences and to senior leadership. The PEM works in close partnership with Prototyping Architects (PAs) and other technical stakeholders, who are in charge of the technical delivery of projects. The PEM is driving the business side of engagements, but is also a technologist, able to dive deep and understand how different technology options impact customer outcomes differently.

The role is based in Paris and might require regular travels in France, as well as occasional travel in EMEA.

Key job responsibilities

• Proactively develop and drive a go-to-market strategy with sales and leadership stakeholders in France to develop a healthy pipeline of high impact prototyping opportunities

• Dive deep with customers to understand their business pain points and gaps that can be addressed with innovative architecture designs. Establish the scope and define a working setup in collaboration with technical as well as business stakeholders of a prototype. Work with customers and AWS stakeholders to ensure a viable path to production for qualified prototypes

• Lead the planning, design and execution of prototypes with prototyping architects, account teams and other stakeholders

• Help customers structure their technical and organizational resources to ensure maximum benefits from adoption or leverage of AWS technology

• Develop extensive executive and senior technical relationships within client organizations as well as internally in AWS; develop as a trusted advisor for innovation and cloud technology

• Capture learnings as well as customer feedback from engagements and drive those learnings into the wider organization to improve services and products

• Support the development of reusable assets and other artefacts leveraging the outcomes from prototypes. Develop thought leadership activities, such as blog post writing or public speaking sessions
