Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented, self-directed ISV Marketing Manager to develop, lead, and execute EMEA - South Marketing for the Software Companies segment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the region marketing programs for the software companies’ business segment, accelerating awareness and adoption of AWS’s cloud computing platform, services and solutions through a proactive, data-driven approach. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The Software Companies Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing and measuring highly impactful local campaigns and collaborate and support EMEA marketing programs. This includes establishing a good understanding of the customer decision journey, creating nurture programs, closely partnering with key stakeholders to build and accelerate the Marketing-generated pipeline in the segment. You will also be acting as a key liaison to the EMEA marketing functions.

The role requires you to work collaboratively with the local sales organization, business development and the EMEA and Global marketing teams, to build brand awareness in the Software Companies community and utilize a variety of channels including email, social, web and digital advertising next to providing support for Trade shows and/or Corporate Events.

This position can be based in Paris or Madrid.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Oversee and execute all aspects of the South Software Companies Marketing Plan (e.g. corp events and trade shows, digital campaigns, social media, virtual events, email, AWS owned and operated channels), including managing external vendors and agencies, allocating budget, developing programs and extend EMEA and Global initiatives, analysis of results, and ongoing optimization.

  2. Partner closely with the EMEA Software Companies Marketing team to drive global and regional campaigns in France and Southern Europe.

  3. Set goals, track and optimize performance with the EMEA South Sales team. Report results, generate insights and share learnings across the entire customer journey.

  4. Foster the culture of marketing innovation, built on data to measure and understand customer success.

  5. Be an excellent verbal and written communicator with strong analytic, and quantitative skills.

Basic Qualifications

• Professional marketing experience across campaigns, operations and programs, preferably in a BtoB environment.

• Experience with marketing technologies, martech stack, across marketing automation (Marketo), social media platforms, CRM (Salesforce.com), data analysis and reporting tools.

• Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget;

• Fluency in French and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, roll up your sleeves and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Experience building and executing marketing programs in France, Iberia or Italy.

• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or relevant field of study.
