Key job responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) for Digital Innovation and Business Strategy Acceleration, you will have an exciting opportunity to lead customer engagements and to co-ideate with business stakeholders (C-Level and Line of Business Executives) of our customers to generate new digital capabilities with focus on France and Southern Europe

You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial enterprise technology sales environment, and working with cross functional teams as many parts of the program will have interdependencies with other teams within AWS. Typically, cross-functional collaboration includes sales leadership, solutions architecture, marketing, partners, professional services, and sales enablement.

Basic Qualifications

The right candidate will have experience delivering innovation and transformation engagements for enterprise customers. This includes demonstrated experience in developing digital innovation opportunities for customers, a proven track record of leading and driving multiple simultaneous projects to meet customer business objectives, excellent project management skills, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data and metrics bias, a good understanding of cloud solutions, and a passion for helping customers transform using cloud technologies. The right person will be technical and analytical, and possess significant experience in business development, change management, or program/digital product management

Understanding of innovation methodologies (e.g. Design Thinking)

Strong verbal and written communication in skills in English and French

Extensive experience in customer-facing digital innovation or equivalent consultative-selling role

Significant experience in business development, consulting, product management

Education – BA or above required

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally the candidate has a solid understanding of the application of GenerativeAI and the business impact

Italian language skills

Industry expertise in Retail/CPG or Energy/Utilities
