You’ll have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art clinics located in Coudersport, Shinglehouse, Port Allegany, and Smethport.

Your Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:
Provide physical therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the physical therapist.
Recommend changes in treatment plans based on patient progress and response.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Direct and supervise therapy volunteers.
Perform clerical tasks as needed.
Safely transport patients in a courteous and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise clinical support staff in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
Accurately document and reflect services provided to patients.
Deliver comprehensive and skillful therapeutic interventions for patients of all ages.
Assist physical therapists in patient assessments.
Maintain detailed written and electronic documentation of all clinical services.
Rotate through different treatment areas and facilities as needed.
Provide feedback to supervisors on department performance and emergency situations.
Achieve and maintain productivity standards set by the organization.
Implement treatment programs effectively to achieve established outcomes and goals.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an associate degree.
Skills:
Strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of human growth and development.
Ability to read and interpret medical records.
Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Ability to identify referral growth opportunities.
Ability to interact well with healthcare team and management.
Experience: Participation in healthcare industry professional organizations is preferred.
Training: Completion of all mandatory competencies and orientations.
Other: May work in areas where medications are stored, but no contact with medications is allowed.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR Certification: Required within 30 days of hire.
Licenses:
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Physical Therapist Assistant or Physical Therapist Assistant Indirect Supervision.
Clearances:
Act 33 with renewal.
Act 34 with renewal.
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
