UPMC Cole seeks Pediatrician to work in Coudersport and Port Allegany, PA to manage the health of children, including physical, behavior, and mental health issues; diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to serious diseases; examine children to assess growth and development; prescribe or administer therapy, medications, and vaccinations; request necessary tests and schedule follow-up visits; create treatment plans for patients and communicate plans to patients, parents, or guardians; develop ongoing patient care management protocols, emphasizing access to and continuity of care; and refer patients to specialists, as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the health of children, including physical, behavior, and mental health issues;

• Diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to serious diseases;

• Examine children to assess growth and development;

• Prescribe or administer therapy, medications, and vaccinations;

• Request necessary tests and schedule follow-up visits;

• Create treatment plans for patients and communicate plans to patients, parents, or guardians;

• Develop ongoing patient care management protocols, emphasizing access to and continuity of care;

• Refer patients to specialists, as necessary.

• Must have M.D. or D.O. or foreign degree equivalent,

• Have completed Pediatrics residency program, and

• Have a valid Pennsylvania medical license.
