Objective:
- The Benefits Specialist will Administer the benefits functions for the Company in compliance with federal regulations, state regulations and Company policy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with payroll and benefits administration
Proficiency:
- Advanced computer skills to include data entry, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent/professionalverbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Advanced experience using the ADP Workforce Now
- Strong initiative, ability to anticipate issues proactively.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of reliability and responsibility.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Discreet, able to handle confidential and proprietary information appropriately. High level of integrity.
- Ability to interact with individuals from diverse levels within a corporation and to provide excellent customer service.
Main Duties:
- Process employee changes.
- Administer health and welfare plans including enrollments and terminations.
- Serve as the Cobra Administrator for Company.
- Administer 401k including enrollments and terminations
- Leave Administration
- Process monthly billings from insurance providers. Review billings for accuracy, codes and advances for payment.
- Resolve discrepancies with carriers
- Complete reports for management as requested.
- Coordinate some wellness activities to include annual health risk assessment process.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve employee insurance issues.
- Assist in annual open enrollment period during 4th quarter of each year: materials from carriers, communicating changes toemployees/answeringquestions, assists with employee presentations. Process changes within deadlines.
- Serve as a contact in the benefit audit process.
- Perform other related benefit duties as required and assigned.
