JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The VP of IT Digital Technologies is a seasoned, hands-on leader within the IT department responsible for using digital technology to improve business outcomes. They lead organizational transformation through operational and cultural shifts towards integrating digital technology and optimizing operations and value delivery to members and employees. They oversee the software engineering, process automation and integration projects and programs in the credit union. In partnership with other key stakeholders, they define and drive the digital strategy of the credit union. Capability Requirements Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or combination of applicable work experience and education. 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in building and leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts. Deep understanding of all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Ability to guide and approve the design of software architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and understanding of cloud-native development. Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). Strong skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the software development process. Experience in managing budgets and efficiently allocating resources to maximize productivity and ROI. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices to ensure that software products are secure by design.
