Cottage Grove Community Medical Center and Clinics are part of the PeaceHealth Oregon West Network. Financially strong, this Critical Access Hospital and Clinic has an opening for a relief, EXPERIENCED internal medicine or family medicine hospitalist physician to join the team in the heart of Cottage Grove, OR.

Including system-wide Epic EMR
On site lab
And an all-digital imaging department
Rapid response team from the ED available 24/7 for your hospitalized patients
Single covered: shift is from 7 am – 7 pm
14 bed community based Critical Access Hospital. 4-8 patients, but can be variable
Work closely with nurse manager, RNs, CNAs, NCM/SW and therapists (PT/OT/ST). No attending specialists, no RT
CT/XR and lab available 24/7. Ultrasound available during business hours Mon-Fri. Echo 1 day per week, mobile MRI 1 day per week
Attached 24-hour ER covered by full time ER physicians
Remote telemetry monitoring
Telehospitalist cover at night
Unofficial/Phone consults with PeaceHealth RiverBend specialists
Swing bed patients are considered outpatient and can be transported to consultation visits during their Swing Bed stay, for example ortho f/up after fracture, etc….
Depending on hospital and walk-in clinic volume and staffing, may be asked to assist in walk-in clinic on occasion
