Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for order picking, replenishing, wrapping your own pallets, labeling, and loading trucks throughout your shift. Training will be provided on how to use the WMS internal ERP system and RF scanners to ensure accurate order picking. This role requires basic math skills and physical strength as it involves heavy lifting, bending, and squatting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receipt, transfers, and storage of incoming freight.

• Pick and prepare shipments for the Building Materials Division.

• Unload incoming freight, verify product against packing lists, sort material by end destination, and put away excess stock.

• Use fork trucks and order picking equipment.

• Load outbound transfer trucks.

• Accurately pull customer orders and prepare material for shipment.

• Secure and label products for delivery.

• Transfer picked orders to staging area for delivery per the delivery schedule.

• Assist in cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Essential Skills

• 1+ Year of warehouse experience

• 1+ Year of Forklift Experience

• Ability to lift 75 lbs., with consistent lifting of 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work 50 hours a week

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately without errors

Work Environment

This role is based in a brand-new building in Cottage Grove, MN. The facility does not have heating or air conditioning, so the temperature varies with the seasons. The company prides itself on maintaining a safe working environment and has equipped the facility with brand-new equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $49920.00/yr.
