Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. This role focuses on the finance sector, specifically handling general ledger reconciliations, manipulating data reports, and assisting with audit selection. This is a short term contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client reconciliations, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date

• Manage general ledger reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies

• Manipulate data reports to facilitate easy understanding and interpretation

• Provide assistance during audit selection to ensure a smooth audit process

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for creating pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas to manage and analyze financial data

• Operate Oracle software for accounting tasks and data management

• Handle no journals or close operations to maintain financial accuracy and transparency

• Leverage your reconciliations skills to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Requirements • Proficiency in General Ledger accounting procedures and maintenance

• Experience with Oracle financial software applications

• Skilled in performing financial reconciliations

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards

• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus
