Aerotek Quality Control Technician in Costa Mesa, California

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for recording statistical data, analyzing data, and writing summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards. You will recommend modifications to existing standards, methods, and procedures or suggest new ones. This role involves quality inspection using measuring tools and requires you to work closely with the ASEA department, which focuses on batteries for yachts and large boats.

1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm

$25/hr

Responsibilities

  • Record statistical data.

  • Analyze data and write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards.

  • Recommend modifications to existing standards, methods, and procedures or suggest new ones.

  • Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools.

Essential Skills

  • Quality control

  • Troubleshooting

  • Electrical knowledge

  • Experience with PCB (Printed Circuit Boards)

  • Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams

  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes

  • Ability to explain quality processes from previous roles

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with torque tools and PCB

  • Hands-on experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, high gauges, torque tools, digital multimeters

  • Knowledge of components, conductors, and transformers

  • Basic knowledge of the subject matter

  • Ability to handle basic issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean and organized environment, with a focus on individual tasks. The work schedule is from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays. The role is suitable for individuals with an automotive or medical device.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
