Compensation Analyst I
The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and administering compensation programs under the oversight of the HR leadership team. We are seeking a well-rounded, detail-oriented, analytical, and organized individual who is looking to add value to our HR shared services team and grow their knowledge of HR fundamentals, in additional to compensation responsibilities. This position and related activities will require interfacing with all levels of HR, Operations, and corporate personnel on a regular basis.

Job Summary
Administers compensation programs and day-to-day activities that align with company’s recruiting, retention, employee engagement and performance objectives.
Manages and evaluates existing jobs; develops and maintains job descriptions and job architecture.
Conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, pay adjustments, and compensation trends.
Performs job evaluations and classifications, equity reviews, market pay review, grade and pay structure updates, and other related compensation duties.
Participates in market studies and surveys.
Ensures plans, programs, and processes are administered consistent with company policies and applicable federal and state laws.
Maintains professional knowledge and awareness of legislative updates.
Communicates, educates, and interfaces with multiple levels within the organization regarding compensation policies and procedures.
Fields compensation questions from HR team members, business partners and leaders.
Conducts training and education sessions.
Proactively identifies new tool and process improvements to address changing business needs.
Leads compensation projects and implementations.
Maintains and updates standard work procedures and documentation.
Performs other duties as assigned including participation in team projects and committees; supports other HR Shared Services departments such as HRIS, benefits, and corporate initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong knowledge of benefits programs: health, welfare, retirement, leave of absence, wellness programs
Knowledge of HR fundamentals, with a focus on total rewards and HRIS programs
Understanding and application of total rewards laws and legislation
Strong project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment; works with a sense of urgency
High level of attention to detail and accuracy; able to keep organized and focused while managing large amounts of data/inputs
Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Enterprise preferred
Proficient in all Microsoft and Outlook programs; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience building reports, charts, presentations, and dash boards; ability to edit reports/presentations according to business needs
Strong critical thinking, data analysis skills, business acumen and good judgment
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple manner and effectively communicate among all levels within the organization
Proactive and solutions driven
Understanding of confidentiality within the HR and Payroll Department
Required Experience and Education
Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field or equivalent experience
2-3 years of successful experience in Human Resources with focus in specialized areas such as benefits and compensation.
Licenses, Certifications, etc.
CBP, CCP, and/or SPHR preferred
