This position is for candidates with the ability to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Key responsibilities

• Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

• Execute full-cycle A/P

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned

• Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

• Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

• Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

• Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

• Provide support to internal business partners

• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

Requirements

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Account reconciliation experience

• Check Runs experience

• ERP system experience as they will be converting to SAP soon

• Accruals experience preferred

• Experience with QuickBooks a plus

• Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
