The responsibilities include partnering with other counties in the region to share information and develop a regional approach to bring awareness, training, and services. Developing and promoting community awareness campaigns about the sexual exploitation and trafficking of youth. The work is performed under the supervision of a higher level administrator or designee. Does related work as required.Work Hours: Part Time, 17 hours per week, no benefitsSalary: $21.5585-$27.2876/hr (CSEA Union)Location: Cortland Child Advocacy CenterStatus: Provisional, TemporaryMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:(a)Possession of an Associate’s degree or higher in human services, criminal justice or a closely related field and two (2) years of work experience providing educational services and/or human services; OR(b)Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four (4) years of work experience providing educational services and/or human services; OR(c)An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b) above.NOTE: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States and its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency. You must pay the required evaluation fee.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:Possession of a valid New York State driver’s license appropriate to the vehicles operated.
