The Global Product Manager – Coalescers & Nuclear is responsible for the development of the product strategy, roadmap and business objectives for the Coalescer and Nuclear-focused product portfolio. This position works in conjunction with commercial and market leaders to define, implement, and measure growth opportunities. Additionally, this position researches and plans the strategy for development of new product features and offerings. This role leads Voice of Customer, product development, segmentation, branding and growth and requires leadership and strong collaborative execution engagement in product life-cycle management, product plans, new product development programs, marketing, competitive research, commercialization, and support for effective the implementation of the go-to market product strategy.
This position reports to the Director of Global Product Management and is part of the Energy+ Marketing Team. This position will be an on-site role with primary location of Cortland, NY. Other possible locations are Deland, FL; Timonium, MD; Port Washington, NY or Portsmouth, England.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and drive product lifecycle management; articulate requirements needed for feature development and identifying areas for consolidation or rationalization.
Identify, lead, and implement process or product improvements contributing to margin expansion and productivity gains; manage upfront justification and prioritization of the VAVE funnel by gathering ideas and opportunities for price improvement.
Investigate competitive offerings to find out who is winning and why; Develop competitive solutions strategies to position the company for significant share gain.
Lead analysis on product features, priorities, value proposition of products based on competitive analysis, customer needs and market segmentation to drive the new product development tollgate process and product launch.
Actively engage as a product owner to understand production issues, quality constraints, and sales issues and actively participate in improvements and solutions.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other Marketing advanced degree preferred
Minimum 5 years relevant commercial or marketing experience
Preferred experience with product lifecycle management, segmentation, and pricing
Preferred experience in oil and gas, industrial and/or chemical industries
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel up to 15% globally – with overnights up to a week in length at a time
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Conducting Voice of Customer research with application of learnings
Gathering market intelligence to make product price and scope recommendations.

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
