Rental Clerk/Equipment Maintenance
Duties: Greet customers and discuss the type, quality and quantity of merchandise sought for rental. Compute charges for merchandise or services and receive payments. Answer telephones to provide information and receive orders. Provide information about rental items, such as availability, operation or description. Rent items, arrange for provision of services to customers and accept returns. Clean and maintain equipment to keep it in top running order. Clean rental area and keep free of debris. Explain rental fees, policies and procedures. Prepare rental forms and contracts on computer. Obtain customer signature and other information, such as required licenses. Keep records of transactions and of the number of customers entering the establishment. Reserve items for requested times and keep records of items rented.
Skills: Will train but you must have good computer skills. Have mechanical abilities. Be familiar with small equipment and the ability to service and maintain it.
Other Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age due to the employers insurance. Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and random testing after hire. Able to lift 75 lbs. through out the day.
Wage: $17.00 per hour
Shift: This is a Full-time position 40 hours per week. Will be working 4 ten hour days with rotating weekends. The store is open 7 days a week; Monday through Saturday from 7:30am-6:30pm and Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm.
