PURPOSE
Collaborate with Academic Colleges and IT to ensure the effective implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Degree Works audit system, along with curriculum management system updates.
DESCRIPTION
Functional Area 1: Degree Works Implementation and Optimization
Percent Effort: 70%
Collaborate with Academic Colleges and IT for the continuing implementation and optimization of the Degree Works audit system, including upgrades and testing.
Assist with updates to the Banner database for curriculum changes and updates
Scribe academic and technical requirements into Degree Works using scribe tools and coding languages
Review and verify curriculum accuracy in collaboration with the Catalog and Curriculum Coordinator.
Analyze and troubleshoot system issues related to degree audits and propose improvements.
Functional Area 2: Training and Support
Percent Effort: 20%
Prepare training manuals and tutorials for students, advisors, faculty, and staff.
Conduct training sessions and provide first-line support for faculty and staff inquiries.
Evaluate current processes for tools like the Student Educational Planner (SEP) and other systems to identify and implement enhancements.
Functional Area 3: Reporting and System Maintenance
Percent Effort 10%
Create and maintain reports using Banner, Argos, and Transit reporting tools to support efficient operations of Degree Works.
Contact Ellucian support for issue resolution and implement corrective actions as needed
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree.
One (1) years of related experience.
Additional experience/education may be used as a substitution for the minimum qualification requirements:
High school Diploma/GED with six (5) years of related experience.
Associate’s degree with two (3) years of related experience.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Strong verbal, planning, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others including faculty, and administrative staff, and curriculum management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of and working experience with Banner and DegreeWorks, in particular DegreeWorks Scribing.
SALARY: $3,657.34 approx. monthly ($43,888 approx. annually)
