Commander, Navy Installations ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in Corpus Christi, Texas

Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER of NAS CORPUS CHRISTI. Responsibilities You will manage internal administrative processes to ensure compliance with current policies. You will consolidate budget input for funding requirements You will manage financial resources for an administrative program to stay within budget constraints. You will establish goals and objectives to develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the administrative programs You will use an automated software application (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or similar application) to track, compile, or analyze financial data. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Exercising management principles and practices regarding all facets of administrative programs; 2) Providing administrative services and procedures such as forms management, files, directives and correspondence management, records management, office equipment and supplies; 3) Monitoring/executing financial and budgetary transactions to ensure adequate control of funds; and 4) Managing administrative program reports; 5) Directing support services functions that include awards (military and civilian), personnel performance evaluations, check in/out procedures, collateral duties, etc. 6) Providing oversight to the Command Personnel/Information Security Program.. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. OR Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR Have a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience.
