Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY POLICE OFFICER in the FORCE PROTECTION (N3AT) of NAVBASE CORONADO SEC DET. Responsibilities You will supervise personnel who provide installation security. You will conduct on-site inspections of law enforcement patrols to verify procedures are followed. You will brief report details of situations, security violations, adverse weather conditions, or other emergencies requiring immediate attention. You will record events occurring during shift in a desk journal or patrol log. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing law enforcement duties that deal with apprehension and detention of individuals in cases ranging from minor incidents to felonies; 2) Performing inspections and investigative work to effect compliance of individuals with laws, rules, and regulations in the protection of life, property, and the civil rights of citizens; 3) Preparing detailed reports and citations concerning all incidents and actions taken; 4) Providing advice, guidance and instruction to police officers and conducting roll call/guard mount.
