Summary You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the N3 OPERATIONS of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE CTR CORONADO. Responsibilities You will plan, schedule, and conduct inspections, evaluations and surveys of facilities, equipment and operations at various locations to determine compliance with regulatory requirements. You will Conducts safety and occupational health inspections and surveys of Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN) and subordinate commands facilities, equipment, and work spaces. You will review and analyze findings and prepares formal reports. You will plan, coordinate and conduct injury/illness mishap and near mishap investigations involving SEAL and Special Boats candidates, staff, and property assigned to NSWCEN and subordinate commands. You will manage and develop safety and occupational health training requirements through analysis of accident data, surveys, inspection, and/or review of regulatory mandates. You will review plans and specifications for new facility construction, major alterations, or changes to safety and occupational health requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, administering and/or monitoring the effectiveness of the safety and occupational health program; analyzing a wide variety of safety issues and develops courses of action to minimize or eliminate hazardous operations.
