A leading company in Coronado, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for their corporate office. This role will be responsible for developing accounts payable processes, forming relationships with vendors, and ensuring that all invoices are paid in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.

• Perform vendor maintenance including obtaining necessary documents for new vendors.

• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.

• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.

  Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field.

• 1-2 years of accounts payable and general accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of the accounting cycle.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
